About the role
- two days on, two days off, three days on, followed by two days off, two days on, and three days off.
- Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- The Utility Technician SME will assist the Utilities Manger with providing technical solutions and expertise to Operations and Maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine system equipment inspections and maintenance, including documentation of operational data, checking and adjusting of operational controls on equipment as necessary.
- Provide and direct operating support for equipment shutdowns and startups including the securing of equipment using standard LO/TO procedures
Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Ability to stand or walk for extended period
- Ability to become licensed to operate powered industrial trucks and lifts
- Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that are required that may affect product quality or food safety.
- Ability to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the product, processes, quality system, or safety system.
- In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required.
