About the role
- This role is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of automated machinery and equipment used in manufacturing operations.
- This role ensures machines operate efficiently and with minimal downtime, supporting production goals and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on automated machines, robotic systems, and control equipment.
- Collaborate with Engineering to assist in equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery.
- Document maintenance actions and machine modifications in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts for automation equipment performance.
- Working with PLCs or other programming languages to troubleshoot, modify, or optimize automated systems
Requirements
- Candidates must be a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Technician.
- Associates must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
- Must be able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 35lbs regularly
- Responsible for automation repairs assigned that are typically of a complex nature and require a high degree of skill and thorough working knowledge of automation practices and techniques.
