Transit the airport, meeting with Navigators and Buddies, providing support or training.
Coordinators play a role in the support of Navigators (our volunteers!) and Navigator Buddies (our dog volunteers!) volunteering their time to make Sky Harbor, PHX, the friendliest airport in America!

Greet and conduct briefings with Navigators.
Participating in reviews and scheduling of Navigators on an hourly at most day-to-day basis.
Be a central source of contact primarily at the Navigator Office and secondarily at the Compassion Corner for Navigators, Buddies, and guests making use of the Compassion Corner.
of at least six (6) months of airport customer service related work or volunteer services.
Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for periods of up to eight (8) hours Ability to communicate effectively with Navigators, and airport guests and stakeholders.
Fluent/proficient in speaking and writing in the English language Preference for those with prior experience working with volunteers or themselves engaging in volunteering.
Ability to operate computers and computer software such as desktop computers, tablets, Microsoft Office without assistance
