About the role

- Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers.
- Provide direction to suppliers regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plan when behind schedule.
- Coordinate and/or arrange for alternative sources of material, requests for spot buys, if necessary (SPO and other GM Plants)
- Determine root-cause and take appropriate action
- MGO Data Maintenance.
- Make judgments on posting inventory adjustments based on investigation and analysis.
- Investigate and process any record adjustment requests from the previous shift

- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, Required
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment, Required
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills, Required
- Strong organizational, problem solving and communication skills., Required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, Required
- Flexible work schedule, Required
- H.S. Diploma/GED, Required
- Bachelor's Degree, Preferred
- 1 year or more in administrative experience, Preferred
- 1 year or more in relevant experience, Preferred
- Knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) Intermediate, Preferred
- Knowledge of transportation management Intermediate, Preferred
