About the role

Subsequent annual renewal of employment will be based upon performance review, progress towards research goals, and continuation of funding.
Purpose The Cambronne lab has a funded position for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in cancer cell metabolism and blood cancers.
Ideal candidates will have experience in genetic mouse models, cytometry, cell culture, and metabolic analyses.

Lead and conduct primary research.
Work with PI to establish project goals, set and adhere to project timelines, perform research, maintained detailed records, prepare figures and manuscripts.
Establish new protocols and collaborate with colleagues relating to lab work.

The PhD degree must have been received within the past three years.
Prior expertise in molecular and cell biology or biochemistry is essential.

$58,744 + depending on qualifications

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. ----

The Cambronne lab has a funded position for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with expertise in cancer cell metabolism and blood cancers.
The project uniquely provides the researcher with the first-chance characterization of novel animal models and use of novel metabolic genetically encoded biosensors.
The researcher will further benefit from collaborative mentorship with researchers at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
