About the role

  • The Legal Department handles a broad range of corporate and legal matters related to the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Sports Management, NESN, SportsNet Pittsburgh, and Boston Common Golf.
  • The base salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 based on relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize attorneys' calendars, including internal and external meetings, board commitments, and industry events.
  • Support intern onboarding and assist with administrative coordination for departmental staffing needs.
  • Manage DocuSign requests and help ensure timely execution and tracking of documents.
  • Maintain and safeguard sensitive and confidential information across strategic and operational activities.
  • Sort and distribute department mail and support general office administration.
  • Manage subscriptions and licensure renewals for attorneys.
  • Manage the company's document management system, including workspace organization, document filing, and audits.
  • Manage requests for certificates of insurance and provide administrative support for insurance-related matters.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of administrative experience, ideally in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, judgment, and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting legal, executive, or other professional teams is a plus.
  • Experience with a legal document management system preferred but not required.

Compensation

  • The base salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 based on relevant experience.
  • Assist with annual report filings and annual law firm audit inquiries.
