About the role

In Stamford, Spartech manufactures high-performance acrylic sheets used in aerospace, security (bullet-resistance), displays, acrylic furniture, laser protection, and other demanding applications.
Our products appear in airplanes, fighter jet canopies, helicopters, bank teller protection, tanning beds, and more.
The Maintenance Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of all maintenance activities within the facility.

This position is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and tracking maintenance requests, inspections, and preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to optimize maintenance performance.
Manage preventive maintenance programs to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Coordinate vendor contracts, service agreements, and external maintenance support as needed.
Maintain identified critical spare and MRO parts inventories.

Track spare parts inventory and order parts to maintain adequate stock levels.
Identify dead stock and submit opportunities to Maint.
Education & Experience Plant experience, HS diploma or GED, Computer skills- MS Office, Excel, Outlook, good verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, problem solving skills.
