About the role

The Banquet Setup Attendant is responsible for the accurate and efficient setup, breakdown, and maintenance of banquet spaces at the hotel.
This role ensures that all events meet client expectations by following Banquet Event Orders (EOs) and providing exceptional guest service.
All employees must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift as business demands.

Manage differing personalities within the office, the hotel, and the community
Maintain the cleanliness and order of work areas such as closets, carts, and storage spaces.
Perform minor repairs to banquet furniture and equipment as needed, ensuring all items are safe and functional.

Maintain the highest degree of confidentiality
In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to squat and bend
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to work long hours as needed
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
Ability to work effectively in stressful, high pressure situations
Ability to effectively handle challenges in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
