About the role
- This role plays a critical part in supporting providers, ensuring clinic efficiency, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
- Accurate and timely patient triage, including assessment of walk-ins and urgent concerns
- Performance and documentation of point-of-care testing with appropriate follow-up
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient care, under the direction of a Registered Nurse, utilizing the nursing process.
- Certified in Basic Life Support
Requirements
- Additional certifications and language skills may be required based on discipline and /or nursing unit requirements
- Critical thinking, compassion, autonomous, and efficient communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a high-volume outpatient environment are essential.
- The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Skills
- Minimum of (3) three years prior LVN experience preferably in acute care setting
- Participates in a systemic, interdisciplinary, and ongoing evaluation of programs, process improvement and desired client-centered outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned.
