Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of senior IT platform engineers - actively growing them toward informal domain ownership across Identity, Endpoint, and Security Engineering
  • own the full people management lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance, career development, and succession
  • partner with the Staff Engineer to sequence the technical roadmap and protect strategic programs from BAU erosion
  • Own delivery relationships with key technology vendors and implementation partners - milestone accountability, performance governance, and risk escalation without requiring executive involvement
  • Lead programs across Security, GRC, Legal, People, and Finance as a true business partner
  • Own the maturation of Oura's enterprise identity program end-to-end - PAM deployment, IGA governance, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver automation are organizational priorities
  • Apply your technical depth where it has the highest leverage - architecture reviews, identity design decisions, vendor technical validation, and engineering escalations
  • remain a credible peer to your senior engineers and delivery partners

  • Lead programs across Security, GRC, Legal, People, and Finance as a true business partner; translate complex technical risk into clear, actionable business language for executive stakeholders; influence without authority across functions

Requirements

  • We would love to consider you for this role if you have:
  • 8+ years in enterprise IT with at least 3+ years managing technical teams at or above Senior Manager level in a high-growth, fast-paced technology company
  • Hands-on Okta or modern enterprise IAM proficiency - proven across at least one full IAM/IGA program delivery
  • comfort with occasional after-hours response is required
