About the role
- The Quality Systems Manager will oversee and enhance the quality assurance and control processes within our railroad construction projects.
- This role will involve ensuring that all construction activities, materials, and finished projects meet the highest standards of quality, comply with relevant regulations and specifications all while adhering to contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality control plan.
- Evaluate and track any noncompliance and partner with the Project Manager to create an action plan.
- Assist Project Managers with developing construction plans.
- Maintain a physical presence and regularly inspect work on site to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- The ability to communicate in a professional manner with owner's representatives, coworkers and direct supervisors
- Must be able to work well with others
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the construction industry, with a strong preference for experience in railroad or infrastructure projects.
- Must be available for field work all weekend once construction begins.
