About the role
- We are seeking a Junior AV Installer to join our Calgary team.
- You will work closely with senior installers to learn best practices and contribute to projects across a variety of environments.
- This is an entry-level position, and candidates of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Work under guidance from Senior and Lead technicians on AV projects
- Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables
Requirements
- Must be willing to work out of town, overnight travel may be required from time to time
Nice to have
- Any Networking/IT background preferred
- Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work and think independently to meet deadlines
- Ability to operate hand and power tools (drill)
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control
- Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
