About the role
- The Retail Manager will own the operational health of HERO's retail business, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient stock movement, timely receiving and replenishment, and seamless day-to-day retail operations.
- Working closely with Operations, Finance, and Guest Experience teams, this individual will establish and maintain best practices for inventory management while leading retail staff during operating hours.
Responsibilities
- Manage opening and closing retail procedures.
- Partner with Operations leadership to continually improve retail workflows and guest experience.
- Own all inventory management processes from receipt through sale.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain inventory records and reporting with a high level of accuracy.
- Develop and maintain organized back-of-house storage systems.
- Manage all inbound and outbound shipments.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of retail management or retail operations experience.
- Strong experience with inventory management and inventory control systems.
- Experience managing shipping, receiving, and retail logistics.
- Experience using POS and inventory management platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience within museums, attractions, hospitality, entertainment, or experiential venues is highly preferred.

Compensation
- $8,500-$10,000/month based on relevant experience
