Requirements

Master's degree in Library Science from an American Library Association accredited school
knowledge of current library practices and technologies.
3 years job related experience post-MLS, with a minimum one year of management experience.

Skills

Keeps statistical records of unit activities and prepares appropriate reports.
Prepares preliminary unit budget; tracks or monitors budget expenditures.
Recommends changes in policies and procedures.
In the Youth Services Department, plans, conducts and oversees story time, Summer Reading Club programs and other youth related activities.

Compensation

$32.26-$40.33/Hourly
