- Job Title: Data Engineer / Data Governance (MarkitEDM)
- Location: New York and New Jersey (onsite)
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data mastering or MDM-focused roles within financial services or asset management
- Hands-on experience with MarkitEDM or equivalent platforms
- Strong understanding of security reference and pricing data - including identifiers, corporate actions, asset classifications, and multi-vendor data sourcing
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling and ETL processes
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks, exception management workflows, and SLA-driven data operations
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges independently
Nice to have
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) or orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt) is a plus
