About the role
- The Utility Locates Coordinator will support construction activities by coordinating the identification and marking of underground utilities before fieldwork begins.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate locate records, documentation, tracking systems, and expiry information.
- Support with other duties as needed.
- PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners.
Requirements
- The position will be based at our office in Mississauga, Ontario, with visits to the Airport site as required.
- Maintain ownership of the Utility Locates Procedure and coordinate updates and revisions as required.
- The role manages locate requests, schedules, records, expiry dates, and required communications between project teams, subcontractors, locate service providers, and the GTAA.
Skills
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in utilities coordination or investigations.
- Strong interest in supporting large infrastructure projects.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with GTAA or other major airport procedures is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and eligibility for RAIC clearance required.
