Responsibilities
- Prepare for and support in GAAP financial audit
- Support in resolving key issues, and identifying opportunities that drive consistent, timely, and accurate revenue reporting and reconciliations
- Support month end close, reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting activities
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, perform monthly and quarterly flux analyses for the balance sheet and income statement
- Support JE for intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities
- Build and develop AP process for month end close activities, including accrual process and aged payable review
- Support JE for intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entities; ensure accurate eliminations and timely settlement
- We're hiring a Senior Accountant to play a key role in building our world-class accounting function.
- In this role will own significant areas of the accounting operation, strengthen our accounting foundation, and help prepare the company for its first external audit.
- This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of execution and systems-building.
Requirements
- Experience working with GAAP accounting standards
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong Accounts Payable expertise, including invoice processing, vendor management, purchasing workflows, and process development
- Experience with modern accounting, payroll, and business intelligence tools such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Rillet, Rippling, Runway, Looker (or similar: Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Proven track record of supporting an accounting ecosystem (Financial ERP or payable software) implementations
