  • We are looking for a talented Facility Maintenance Technical Support Specialist to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Cummins Inc. facility in Columbus, IN.
  • In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Responsibilities

  • Works in a multi-craft environment; supports Technicians in other occupations as needed.
  • Performs routine and repetitive preventative maintenance of heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, building ventilation systems, air compressors, heat
  • Assists Technicians with the installation and maintenance of machine tools, hoists, test stands, and miscellaneous hydraulic equipment; repairs dynometer to support testing.
  • Maintains safe and effective facilities and building systems.
  • Maintains cleanliness within the workplace.
  • Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Manages complexity

Requirements

  • Assists technicians and engineers as required.
  • Demonstrates confidentiality as required.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to get the job done.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written procedures, safety requirements, and lockout/tagout practices.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues, identify failure causes, and recommend corrective actions to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
