- The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Technical Training Instructor.
- Conditions of Employment cont, A significant portion of course instruction requires the incumbent to conduct training scenarios in and around a hanger/highbay that is exposed to all four seasons of weather.
Requirements
- Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems.
- Work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
- One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level.
- TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
Skills
- Knowledge of tests and measurement principles, techniques, and objectives.
- Skill in accomplishing special training studies and projects.
- Ability to analyze problems and develop appropriate solutions.
Compensation
- $64k-$84k
