About the role
- This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and loves balancing people leadership with technical mentorship and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
- Partner closely with product and design to plan roadmaps, define requirements, and ship high-impact features.
- Support engineers through clear expectations, coaching, and regular feedback.
- Drive engineering processes (planning, standups, retros, technical reviews) that help teams operate smoothly.
- In this role, you'll guide the team through roadmap execution, drive engineering excellence, and ensure that everyone is equipped to do the best work of their careers.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in a people management role.
- Experience leading teams in high-growth or startup environments.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-moving environments.
- Experience with full-stack or distributed systems architecture.
- Experience scaling teams or guiding engineering orgs through growth stages.
- Familiarity with modern frontend, backend, or infrastructure stacks (React, Node.js/Go/Python, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, etc.).
