- This Site Technician posting allows us to identify and engage with individuals year-round who are interested in current and future opportunities supporting the operation and maintenance of our solar facilities.
Responsibilities
- Born in Texas in 2003, we own and operate over 30 utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects in local communities across the United States, totaling 4 gigawatts (GW) of generating capacity.
- Leeward Renewable Energy is always interested in connecting with talented individuals who are passionate about building and maintaining clean energy infrastructure.
Requirements
- Equipment Handling: Assist in handling and organizing tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Ability to accurately document work activities and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
- Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items up to 50 lbs.
Skills
- Participate in company-provided training programs to advance to higher levels within the solar technician career path.
