About the role
- We are looking for a Field Application Engineer for our Fan and Thermal Business in our Hoofddorp, The Netherlands office.
- Hands-on with pumps/valves/filters/sensors, coolant chemistries (water-glycol/dielectric), and reliability test methods.
Responsibilities
- Project leadership: Plan/track milestones, manage risks, and drive cross-functional execution from design-in to volume.
- Customer technical engagement: Capture requirements, discuss trade-offs, ensure spec compliance, and support architecture decisions.
- Validation & quality: Define/execute test plans (pressure/leak, flow, thermal, vibration); document results and close actions.
- Proven project management experience to drive projects forward and hit dates.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Mechatronics, or similar background.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in thermal/fluid systems (data-center cooling, HVAC/CRAC/CDU, server OEM, or related).
- Strong knowledge of liquid cooling (cold plates, CDUs, manifolds, pumps, QDs) and manufacturing processes (brazing/welding, cleaning, leak/pressure testing, flushing).
- Ability to adapt quickly to fast, dynamic environments and full of team spirit
- Fluent English and Chinese are required
