About the role

  • Job Description In this role, you will join the Visa Intelligent Authorization (VIA) product team within Acceptance Solutions.
  • This role reports to the Senior Director, Visa Intelligent Authorization.
  • Your hiring manager will confirm in-office expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage intake, prioritization, and roadmap execution for the Visa Platform Connect feature backlog.
  • Partner closely with development and engineering teams to define end-to-end requirements, track execution, and commercialize payment products.
  • Develop detailed, network-agnostic product and functional requirements to support development, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with architects, development teams, and cross-functional partners to deliver features seamlessly by aligning stakeholders, identifying risks early, and removing blockers.
  • Support end-to-end payment product delivery by clarifying requirements, defining scope, creating functional test scenarios, securing UAT sign-offs, and preparing release communications.
  • You will bring strong product management experience building innovative, commercially successful products.
  • You will drive product strategy, execution, and delivery to expand features and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in product development.
  • Strong understanding of card payment scheme compliance and the industry regulatory framework.
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • End-to-end understanding of Visa and other global payment scheme services, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and related processes.
  • Ability to manage the full lifecycle of payment products.
  • Proven ability to develop new products for B2B clients, including acquirers, processors, and large merchants.
  • Understanding of transaction processing services such as fraud, risk, digital, and mobile, along with payment industry standards including ISO 8583, EMV, 3DS, and PSD2, is a plus.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams across time zones, geographies, and cultures without direct authority.

Nice to have

  • 8 or more years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, at least 5 years with an advanced degree (for example, a master's, MBA, JD, or MD), or 2 years with a PhD.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a payment processing environment.
  • 5 or more years of experience in product lifecycle management.
  • Strong experience working in agile environments, preferably the Scaled Agile Framework, and with process management tools such as JIRA and JIRA Align.
  • Collaborative team player with broad experience partnering with subject matter experts, product teams, architects, and software engineers.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to think strategically and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely communicate project issues and risks to executive audiences.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset.

Compensation

  • The estimated salary range for this position is $152,200 to $243,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).
