About the role
- Monday-Saturday 8AM-5PM during the months of July October subject to 7 days
- Overtime may be available based on business needs during off season
- Escalon is located in California's Central Valley with a population of 7,558.
Responsibilities
- Processing purchase orders, track orders and maintain an inventory
- Build relationships with suppliers
- Manage plant procurement activities for packaging materials and supplies
- Maintain vendor accounts - coordinate orders, shipping, invoices, delivery
Requirements
- Attention to detail for accuracy
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to have
- A/P experience preferred
- SAP knowledge preferred
- An understanding of purchase order software platforms (MRP) manufacturing resource planning preferred
