Responsibilities
- Support the repair and maintenance of a wide variety of facility systems, supporting equipment and including but not limited to: HVAC system, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, air compressors, exhaust fans, collectors, substations, electrical panels, VFD's, and production skids
- Manage relations and coordinate with vendors on maintenance, job walks, lockout/tagout (LOTO) confirmation, warranty service, scope of work reviews for any complex issues
- Properly maintain areas with Clean and Dry Room ratings
- Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S/3R standards and lean manufacturing practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
- LG Energy Solution is seeking a Facility Technician II to support the site Facility operations team at our factory in Queen Creek, AZ.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7+ years of maintenance experience in industrial facility or manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or GED required;
- Considerable knowledge of tools and techniques used in maintenance and repair in industrial facilities.
- Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for a period of up to 12 hours
- Protective Respirator, as required
- Must be able to do perform the following over the course of up to 12 hours per day
- Maintain proficiency with the Building Automation System (BAS) and makes recommendations to the Facility supervisor on upgrades, program or setpoint changes to maintain efficient operations
- The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and committed to maintaining LG Energy Solution's high standards for safety, reliability, and operational excellence.

- Able to work alternative work schedules, including condensed work weeks as the factory operations expand.
Nice to have
- Vocational Certificate, Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills in facility and process systems
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well with individuals and teams across the company to ensure the team meets or exceeds expectations
- Ability to prioritize work schedules, identify and correct problems and communicate effectively with staff and the public
- Microsoft Office Suite and CMMS experience
- Technical communication skills to relay information to Energy engineers and suppliers
