About the role

- This is a remote, full-time position open to candidates across Canada.
- JOB DESCRIPTION Brafton is looking for a full-time content writer with a background in travel.
Responsibilities
- We aspire to continually raise the bar on what people consider "marketing content." We create result-focused strategies and content to drive SEO, social engagement and leads for our clients.
- Our teams continuously build expertise across new media formats, including video, blogs, infographics and web design.
- Research, create and deliver high-quality content to clients according to specified deadlines
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional writing experience, including travel writing experience
- Extensive experience with travel, ideally including cruising.
- Knowledge of AP (Associated Press) style
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as a valuable member of a team
- Ability to follow detailed briefs, apply client-specific style guidelines and work within established content templates
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Marketing or Communications strongly preferred
- Applicants who provide relevant writing clips strongly preferred
