About the role

  • The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the training, competency assessment and continuing education programs for testing, non-testing, and/or non-clinical personnel at Guardant Health.
  • Identify and troubleshoot initial training or competency documentation inquiries or content in question.
  • Monitor upcoming training or competency assessment due dates by representative departments and send out notifications as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform timely completion of daily priorities workflows in conjunction with training assignment creation, documentation organization, review and/or routing, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, and/or Smartsheets, and/or Salesforce for business use;
  • Ability to proactively communicate consistently, clearly, and honestly.
  • Understand training programs by team or department and required training documentation by each competency evaluation component.
  • Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment.
  • A background screening including criminal history is required for this role.
  • At least one year of Guardant Health Clinical Laboratory experience or equivalent high complexity and volume laboratory experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Clinical Science, Education, or related field preferred
  • Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Work Environment:
  • Hours and days may vary depending on operational needs
  • Standing or sitting for long periods of time may be necessary
  • May be exposed to hazardous materials, blood specimens and instruments with moving parts, heating or freezing elements and high-speed centrifugation
  • Manual and repetitive pipetting may be necessary
  • Some lifting (up to 25 pounds) may be necessary.

  • Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laboratory regulations preferred;
