Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our mobile and web applications.
- Perform manual testing on mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms, including smartphones and tablets, to identify defects, ensure compatibility, and validate adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize testing tools such as Jira and Zephyr Scale to manage test cases, track defects, and report test results effectively, ensuring clear communication with cross-functional teams.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects meticulously, maintaining clear and organized records, and communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance, sharing knowledge and insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- 6 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing role, with a focus on mobile (iOS and Android) and web application testing, preferably in a SaaS or technology startup environment.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Jira and Zephyr Scale for test case management, defect tracking, and test reporting.
