About the role

This is an opportunity for a dedicated Associate Attorney to gain valuable experience in both criminal and immigration law and further their career with an established firm in the San Jose area.
As the Post Conviction Relief Attorney, you will report to the Supervising Attorney.

Advise client on their legal rights in matters and draw up legal documents about their case
Manage court appearances, drafting motions, interviewing clients and performing legal research
Manage workload of cases
The Post Conviction Relief Attorney will manage their caseload, as well as client interaction, and can collaborate with our wonderful Post Conviction Relief Team of Attorneys and legal assistants.

Experience handling criminal cases at the state and local level
Experience with immigration law is highly desirable, but not required, as this position would have interactions with both criminal and immigration practices
Criminal Defense Experience or Immigration Law Experience
A team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with your fellow associates
Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
