Responsibilities

  • Establishes and communicates team objectives, develops plans and strategies that align with firmwide goals, and sets high performance expectations for the team.
  • Manages staff and team dynamics, fostering a collaborative work environment and a high-performance culture in which individuals and groups are positioned to grow and succeed.
  • Works closely with group leaders to set priorities, manage workloads, and resource allocation, and ensure groups are accomplishing goals and contributing to strong team performance.
  • Drives recruitment efforts to attract top talent, fostering a workplace environment that supports staff retention, professional development, and team success.

  • Leads efforts to expand the team's capabilities and service offerings, identifying opportunities for growth that align with client needs and firmwide strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • You are passionate about:
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Must have at least six years of experience supervising technical personnel.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer.
  • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding client expectations.
  • Working collaboratively with others.
  • Having ownership in the work you do.
  • Using your talents to positively affect communities.
  • You bring to the team:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related area preferred. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree with equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of ten years of related experience within an applicable field or discipline.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Successful experience in building and maintaining strong workloads.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related area preferred.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree with equivalent experience is required.
