About the role
- As a Construction Loan Funding Specialist you will play a pivotal role in managing the full life cycle of a mortgage portfolio.
- Implementing controls to safeguard the mortgage loan system's integrity and information accuracy.
- Attending team and department trainings and meetings, providing recommendations for enhanced practices.
Responsibilities
- Effective document management, including physical and electronic file organization related to client files and databases.
Requirements
- Ownership and accountability for work, ability to meet tight deadlines, and handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
- Undergraduate degree or nearing completion in Real Estate, Business Administration, Math, Accounting, Insurance, or Economics.
- Experience in the banking, credit union, or financial services industry is an asset Experience in construction loan operations is an asset
- Developing a proficiency in other team functions to serve as a function floater, such as Borrower Relations, Collections & Investor Relations, and Collateral Management.
Skills
- Experience in construction loan funding Proficient in analytical and numerical skills.
- Self-motivated, process-oriented, and possesses strong administration and operation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
Compensation
- $50,000 - $70,000/yr
