About the role

  • This is a rewarding role for anyone who enjoys cheering young people on as they step confidently into adulthood.
  • Assist clients in securing and maintaining permanent housing (lease signing, landlord mediation, rental arrears negotiation, unit inspections, etc.).
  • Use harm-reduction and trauma-informed approaches in all client interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments, develop individualized housing stability/service plans, and update plans quarterly or as needs change.
  • Collaborate with property managers, housing navigators, peer specialists, and clinical teams.

Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • At least 1-2 years of case management experience with people experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use, or trauma.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Housing First, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing (preferred).

Compensation

  • $18k-$25k

  • Advocate for clients with landlords, courts, hospitals, and benefit agencies.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and manage a flexible schedule (some evenings/weekends).
