About the role
- This is a rewarding role for anyone who enjoys cheering young people on as they step confidently into adulthood.
- Assist clients in securing and maintaining permanent housing (lease signing, landlord mediation, rental arrears negotiation, unit inspections, etc.).
- Use harm-reduction and trauma-informed approaches in all client interactions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments, develop individualized housing stability/service plans, and update plans quarterly or as needs change.
- Collaborate with property managers, housing navigators, peer specialists, and clinical teams.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- At least 1-2 years of case management experience with people experiencing homelessness, mental illness, substance use, or trauma.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, human services, or related field (preferred).
- Knowledge of Housing First, harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing (preferred).
Compensation
- $18k-$25k

- Coordinate medical, mental health, substance use treatment, benefits enrollment (SSI/SSDI, SNAP, Medicaid), employment, and other supportive services.
- Advocate for clients with landlords, courts, hospitals, and benefit agencies.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage a flexible schedule (some evenings/weekends).
