Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and complete comprehensive equipment condition-based maintenance (CBM) programs.
  • Support electrical equipment outages and coordinate scheduled maintenance to restore or upgrade plant assets.
  • Maintain, review, and update critical electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics.
  • Perform meticulous electrical reviews of Management of Change (MOC) plans and operational work plans.
  • Interpret internal/external customer needs, assess technical requirements, and deliver innovative engineering solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience delivering electrical infrastructure reliability work, executing plant outage support, and managing CBM platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to deliver technical presentations to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Up to 25% travel required
  • Mid-Senior (4+ Years Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree Required (Engineering or Engineering Technology with P.E.)
  • A minimum of four (4) years of multifaceted engineering experience specifically within the natural gas, petrochemical, downstream oil & gas, or chemical manufacturing industries.
  • Deep proficiency in the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial power-systems protection (fault analysis, distribution, switchgear).

Nice to have

  • A documented history of career stability (average tenure 2 years or successfully completed 12+ month engineering project contracts).
  • Preferred Skills & Credentials
  • Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) designation is highly preferred.
  • FE Certification: Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) designation is highly preferred.
