About the role

  • Responsible for both customer satisfaction and the financial performance of the team's projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and contributes to the design and development of products to fulfill the needs of the customer and improve company productivity.
  • Oversees fabrication of prototypes and communicates necessary design information with suppliers.
  • Ensures all design and test requirements are completed on time and in budget and guarantees a robust and safe end product that meets all performance expectations.
  • Creates and maintains BOM and ECN documentation.

Requirements

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Descriptions are representative of those that must be met by employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of engineering and leadership experience with a high volume manufacturer of consumer products
  • Experience leading cross functional teams in suspension damper development
  • power sports or automotive industry preferred

Skills

  • Familiar with material processing operations
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Proficient with Pro-E/Creo 3D modeling or equivalent
