Responsibilities
- Leads various large-scale university-level academic strategic initiatives.
- Collaborates with academic leadership on the strategic expansion and enhancement of programs across all instructional sites.
- Maintains confidential records and documentation related to grievance processes.
- 10% Division Support
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lead large groups. Demonstrated ability to work with constituents across campus.
Requirements
- Must have held a faculty role and earned the rank of full professor with tenure.
- Must have held a variety of administrative roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
Skills
- Knowledge of strategic planning, academic program development, and faculty processes and procedures.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and meticulous record keeping.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to prioritize. Record of scholarship or creative work.
- Strong understanding of TAMUS policies and procedures related to faculty affairs.

- Ten years of successful teaching/administrative experience in higher education.
