About the role
- Responsible for registration of all patient types within their department.
- Works daily reports and account work queues to ensure the integrity of registration data.
Responsibilities
- Obtains or validates patient information and registers patients into the software system, while providing a high level of customer service.
- Maintains patient safety through the correct patient identification practices. Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters relating to patient PHI.
- Completes forms and collects documents as needed based on the registration type.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, (Required)

- Experience
- Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) - National Association of Healthcare Access Management (NAHAM) within 1 Year (Preferred)
