Responsibilities

Requirements
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to mentor and train accounting team members
- Comfortable using software with willingness to learn new software as required
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize
Nice to have
- Issue accurate and timely vendor payments through AP checks or ACH
- Work directly with staff and vendors to resolve invoicing issues and questions
- Cash receipt processing and batch reconciliation utilizing BOT automation
- Handle office lease payments and track new or terminated leases to ensure appropriate landlord payments are sent
- Research files and computer reports to resolve vendor complaints related to non-payment
- Ensure payment is received for outstanding invoices and work with AR and billing staff on receipt inquiries
- Process year-end 1099s as required
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
