About the role
- This role will be responsible for developing architecture and design while informing requirements, verification, and validation.
- This position will follow architectural design principles to develop system architectures and lead the integration of engineering disciplines to implement designs that result in successfully launching life-saving oncology systems in a competitive market environment.
Responsibilities
- Follow architectural design principles for products.
- Develop system architectures for products that efficiently support multi-disciplinary use cases.
- Lead cross-disciplinary engineering teams to develop system solutions that balance complexity across each discipline while maximizing stakeholder value.
- Document system architectural solutions.
- Support the development of use cases, requirements, and verification & validation protocols.
- Review design documents, interface definitions, and safety-critical control logic for consistency with overall system requirements.
- Collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of embedded subsystems within the broader system architecture.
- Manage one or more subsystems.
- Mentor design engineers to help develop systems-level understanding across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering or science field.
- Model Based Systems Engineering experience is desirable.
Nice to have
- At least 10 years of engineering experience, with recent emphasis in systems engineering preferred.
