Responsibilities
- Route and manage power connections cleanly and professionally, maintaining full separation from elevator control and operational wiring
- Work with building staff to coordinate access as needed
- Maintain detailed installation records for each property, including photos, cab dimensions, mounting specifications, and completion documentation
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working inside elevator cabs, mechanical rooms, or related building systems - licensed and unlicensed candidates are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Strong understanding of elevator cab interior standards and NYC DOB requirements as they relate to non-structural modifications
Nice to have
- NYC Elevator Mechanic License issued by the NYC Department of Buildings is a plus but not required
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred
- Valid New York State driver's license
- Experience working alongside or coordinating with elevator maintenance companies preferred
Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $90,000–$150,000 + bonus; however, the base pay may vary depending on the final negotiated consulting agreement, job related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
