This person will play a key role in preconstruction, helping us pursue and win complex ground up projects with a strong focus on industrial and large scale commercial work.

Lead estimating efforts for ground up construction projects, with an emphasis on industrial, tilt up, and large commercial builds
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to develop accurate and competitive estimates
Build detailed quantity takeoffs and pricing models from conceptual through GMP stages
Manage subcontractor outreach, leveling, and bid analysis
Proven ability to lead estimates independently from early concept through final pricing
Someone who can see a set of plans, understand the risks, and build a real strategy around it.

7 plus years of estimating experience with a commercial general contractor
Strong experience with ground up construction, especially industrial projects such as tilt up warehouses, distribution centers, or large scale concrete structures
Deep understanding of construction means and methods, especially related to structural systems and site work
Strong relationships with subcontractors in the Southern California market is a plus
Comfortable working in a fast moving environment with a high level of ownership
