About the role

  • The Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech) is a vital member of the Minneola Healthcare team, responsible for providing both radiology and laboratory services in the Emergency Department during night shifts.
  • This role requires certification as a Radiologic Technologist and includes performing X-ray and CT scans.
  • This position ensures timely, quality care in emergent situations and plays a key role in our night shift operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and CT scans in accordance with physician orders and safety standards.
  • Maintain and operate radiology and lab equipment, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and readiness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to support efficient, effective emergency care.
  • The ER Tech will also be trained in basic laboratory procedures to support ED needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to assist with patient transfers and operate imaging/lab equipment safely.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with current Kansas licensure.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and exposure to clinical environments.

Nice to have

  • CT certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
  • Experience in an emergency or hospital setting is strongly preferred.
