Responsibilities
- This position will also have oversight of the day to day to operations of the physician practice, including full supervision of support staff.
Requirements
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to work as a member of a team and autonomously.
- A high school diploma or GED and one year of healthcare office experience, to include hands on computer knowledge of electronic medical records are required. Additionally, two years of supervisory experience in the medical setting or in another professional field are minimally required. Candidates with an active and current CPR certification are preferred. Additionally, candidates with certification/license in a healthcare related field (Nursing, LPN, CMA, Echocardiography, etc.) with current license in Georgia or eligible for Georgia licensure are highly desired.
- Ability to perform Basic Life Support, CPR, and to respond to a patient in cardio/pulmonary arrest.
- Demonstrates initiative, flexibility with various job requirements, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and perform new tasks.

Nice to have
- Candidates with an active and current CPR certification are preferred.
Skills
- Must have basic computer skills and knowledge and ability to complete medical charting to include ICD and CPT coding.
- Management and customer service skills that include a professional but friendly disposition.
- Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.
