Job Title - Electrical Procurement Coordinator Location - Montgomery, AL Resumes will be reviewed continuously.

Consults with Design/Build Coordinator in the process of designing electrical equipment and materials.
Reviews design development documents for compliance with project requirements.
Performs quantity surveys and estimates based on project plans and specifications.
Prepares and issues bid documents to prospective vendors and subcontractors seeking pricing information. Evaluates pricing information for best value and specified product with Procurement Manager prior to awarding contract.
Writes and issues contract documents for purchase of material and equipment needed for projects.
Tracks projects from design inception through completion to include all changes in design.
Obtains and reviews submittals for adherence to contract documents.
Performs all other tasks as assigned.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage costs and control schedule.

Certifications, Licenses, etc.: Department of State minimum secret security clearance required.
Working Conditions - Some travel required.
Some light lifting may be required (50 lbs), walking, standing, sitting, keyboarding, writing and reading.
Work while traveling in non- controlled environments may be required.

Four-year degree in building science, construction management or engineering and five years construction management experience preferred.

While the salary range is typically between $ 88,500 - $132,700 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.

Education / Experience - Minimum high school diploma/GED and five years construction management experience required.
