About the role
- The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a transformative $4.6 billion infrastructure initiative led by SR400 Constructors, a 50/50 joint venture between Flatiron Dragados and ACCIONA.
- With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and key bridge refurbishments.
- Construction is set to begin in late 2025, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily quality reports that document inspections and material approvals.
- Work with the construction team to remediate deficiencies and document corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection and testing records in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Ability to identify deficiencies, track nonconformance issues, and document corrective actions.

- The inspector verifies testing procedures, identifies quality issues, and collaborates with the construction team to remediate deficiencies.
- They maintain documentation in the EDMS, contribute to improving quality processes, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Requirements

Skills
- Experience as a construction quality inspector or lab technician on at least one transportation infrastructure project
- Familiar with ACI, ASTM, and any applicable standard
- College Diploma required
- Strong understanding of construction quality standards, compliance, and testing procedures.
- Assess and remediate construction quality issues efficiently.
- Work closely with field engineers, superintendents, and inspectors.
- Familiarity with project drawings, specifications, ITPs, and material approval processes.
- Ability to review test results, generate reports, and contribute to process improvements.
- Maintain accurate quality records and coordinate inspections effectively.
