Responsibilities
- Performs highly complex to advanced contract management work with information technology programs involving contract development, procurement and management.
- Plans, develops and provides assistance to pre-solicitation program descriptions, performance requirements, and development of Request for Offers (RFO) and Request for Proposals (RFP).
- Facilitates and coordinates with the team to develop and implement processes, timelines, statements of work, evaluation plans, scoring instruments, funding availability and contract procurement and development.
- Develops and manage contract-related budgets, validation, cost estimates and projections.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Requirements
- One additional year (30 semester hours) of accredited college work may be substituted for each year of the required experience with a maximum substitution of two years.
- One additional year of full-time qualifying experience may be substituted for each year (30 semester hours) of the required college.
- Ability to work independently while understanding the need for communicating and coordinating work efforts with others.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines and make critical decisions.
Nice to have
- Four years' experience with technology contracting, contract management, and purchasing or procurement management in local, state or federal government.
- Experience with Seat Management and/or Data Center Services is a plus.
- Knowledge of applicable local, state, or federal rules, regulations and policies related to contract procurement administration and management.
- Knowledge of procurement policies and procedures as defined in the Texas Contract Management Guide and the Texas Procurement Manual.
- Experience with reviewing and evaluating contracts and vendor deliverables.
- Effectively demonstrate negotiation and facilitation skills.

Compensation
- The salary range for this position is $4,500 - $5,500 per month, depending on qualifications.
