About the role
- This role provides hands-on exposure to real estate investment analysis, market research, and transaction execution within a collaborative team environment.
- Performing various other types of analysis, research, and financial modeling.
- Supporting scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate investment risk and return profiles.
Responsibilities
- As an Acquisition Analyst, you will support Fairfield's investment strategy by analyzing potential multifamily acquisitions and assisting the acquisitions team throughout the underwriting and transaction process.
- Financial Modeling & Underwriting Support
- Analyzing property-level operating statements, rent rolls, and expense assumptions to support underwriting accuracy.
- Evaluating market data to support assumptions used in acquisition underwriting.
- Due Diligence & Transaction Support
Requirements
- A bachelor or master's degree in business, real estate finance, accounting, or related field required
- 0-2 years of experience in commercial real estate financial underwriting, due diligence review and analysis
Skills
- Updating acquisition tracking tools and reports to reflect deal status, assumptions, and timelines.
