About the role
- In this role, you will oversee staffing, processes, and performance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality fulfillment of orders.
- This role offers the opportunity to make a measurable impact on operational performance and team effectiveness at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to achieve and sustain safety, quality, and productivity objectives within the distribution environment.
- Evaluate operational processes, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes based on data and performance analysis.
- Manage departmental budget, including labor, packaging, maintenance, and related operational expenses.
- Establish performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and career development support.
- Partner with Human Resources and staffing agencies to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in large-scale automated distribution, manufacturing, or operations environments with budget responsibility.
- Experience managing safety programs and working knowledge of OSHA standards and compliance practices.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to drive performance, manage change, and sustain results through a team.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Working knowledge of distribution operations, including logistics, fulfillment, and facility processes.
- Ability to perform work in a distribution and office environment, including lifting up to 40 pounds and operating equipment with required training.
- To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements using metrics.
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with RF/barcoding systems, sortation, or material handling technologies preferred.
