About the role
- Essity is currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer based in our facility in Bowling Green, KY.
- The role provides electrical expertise to Essity's high-speed manufacturing operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage capital projects from concept through commissioning.
- Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
- Own and maintain the site electrical distribution systems.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting support for high-speed converting lines and packaging equipment.
- Program PLCs, HMIs, drives, motion control systems.
- Optimize electrical controls systems for throughput and waste reduction.
- Develop a control system obsolescence strategy and manage its execution.

Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of project engineering experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of control systems and power distribution.
Nice to have
- Exposure to OPC, MES and DDE would be a plus.
Compensation
- Competitive annual salary + annual incentive bonus + benefits
