Responsibilities

  • Safety: Create an environment where safety is the number one priority in every activity that you do, driving safety improvements and conducting safety checks routinely.
  • Effectively manage any compliance issue that arises during shift that could potentially impact on lot completion.
  • Development: Develop direct reports by securing appropriate training and assigning progressively challenging tasks. Ensures all personnel has development actions/ plans in place and arranging opportunities for growth.
  • Generates and manages non-hazardous and hazardous waste, according with the internal operating procedures and in compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • The role of the Manufacturing Supervisor I has basic knowledge and experience in its field and develops competence by performing structured work.
  • Lead and facilitate safe operations in line with all safety, regulatory and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs is required.
  • Familiarity with documentation in a highly regulated environment
  • Ensure that team members are trained to the required standards of their job.
  • Experience Regulatory: Working knowledge of safety, quality systems, and cGMPs is required.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A degree in sciences or engineering is strongly preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Two years of manufacturing or related experience required.
  • Supervisor experience preferred.
