- The University of Miami Division of Enrollment Management has an exciting opportunity for a full time Admissions Counselor to work in Coral Gables, FL.
- This position involves 4-6 weeks of domestic travel in the fall and 2-3 weeks in the spring, along with evening and weekend commitments during high-volume periods (September-May).
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized guidance and counseling to support students in making informed decisions.
- Build relationships with prospective students by securing contact information at off-campus events and campus visits, and following up in a timely, professional manner.
- Support and participate in on-campus events, including open houses, yield programs, and admitted student events.
- Represent the University at off-campus events such as high school and community college visits, college fairs, and community-based programs to connect with prospective students and support the enrollment pipeline.
- Effectively utilize Slate (Technolutions), PowerFaids, and other platforms to manage student records, track activities, and support data-informed decision-making.
- Possess a valid driver's license and willingness to travel independently as necessary to support recruitment and enrollment activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a polished yet approachable style.
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and build meaningful relationships.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Collaborative, humble, and solution-oriented, with a positive, energetic approach.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel during peak recruitment periods.
Nice to have
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Slate experience strongly preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
- $44,000-$47,000
